Information Technology, also known as IT, deals mainly with the use of computer
hardware and software to securely access, store, protect, and transmit information.
IT also encompasses most other aspects of technology which cover many fields such
as the phone system, heating and cooling systems that are electronically controlled,
police and fire department communications and software, networking, web and graphic
design, data management, software training, etc. |
The City's IT Department currently consists of
5 people:
- Scott Williams - IT Director
- Brad Hinnant - Web Developer/CSA
- Chris Cecchini - Network Administrator
- Emily Sullivan - Server/Database Administrator
- Josh Marquez - Computer Systems Administrator
Along with their main duties, they also provide user support for all of the City
employees.
