Fire Station 3 is located at 100 Patetown Road. Station 3 was built in 1966 and has the following vehicles:
Engine 3 - 1990 Pierce Arrow. Tank holds 1,000 gallons of water.
1919 Fire Truck.
Engine 3
is specialized in trench rescue.
All of Goldsboro's Operational Fire Fighters work a schedule of:
24 hours on
24 hours off
24 hours on
24 hours off
24 hours on
24 hours off
then 96 hours off (4 days)
This equals out to a 56 hour work week with shifts starting and ending at 8am.
