If you are interested in becoming a City of Goldsboro employee, job vacancies are updated weekly on this website.  We also advertise through local media, the Employment Security Commission, and various civic and community organizations.  There is also a job hotline that can be accessed 24 hours a day at (919) 580-4296.  Applications may be completed at our location on 214 N. Center Street, or you can download an application from the website and submit it via mail or in person to the Human Resources Management Department. Employment applications are accepted only for advertised vacancies.  A separate application must be submitted for each position you are interested in.  You may include a resume, however, they are not accepted in lieu of a completed City of Goldsboro employment application.  Applications must be received in the Human Resources Management Department before 5:00pm on the closing date.  Vacancies without a closing date may be filled at any time.  Only candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.  The City of Goldsboro is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action/Drug-Free Employer.
